The tools (v1) and payments (v2) are authenticated with an API key. The Discord data API (v4) is keyless.
Get an API key
Create one in the dashboard under Settings → API. Keep it secret - it spends your wallet balance and can run tools on your account.
Send it
Pass the key as a Bearer token in the Authorization header on every v1/v2 request.
curl "https://tools.eimted.us/api/v1/tools" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"const res = await fetch("https://tools.eimted.us/api/v1/tools", {
headers: { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" },
});
const data = await res.json();import requests
res = requests.get(
"https://tools.eimted.us/api/v1/tools",
headers={"Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"})
print(res.json())req, _ := http.NewRequest("GET", "https://tools.eimted.us/api/v1/tools", nil)
req.Header.Set("Authorization", "Bearer YOUR_API_KEY")
resp, _ := http.DefaultClient.Do(req)Keyless v4
The Discord data endpoints under /api/v4 need no key and are safe to call from anywhere - see Discord data (v4).
Don't ship your key to the browser
v1/v2 calls spend money. Call them from your server, never from client-side code where the key would be exposed.
